Me: -zoning out and avoiding eye contact with teacher-
Professor: Hey! What are you doing, staring at your paper so intensely?
Me: I'm drawing cats.
Professor: ...
Me: And a rainbow.
Professor: ...
Me: And a little guy with a--
Professor: Just pay attention!!
The silence here seems so fragile and veil-like. I don’t want to break it, but I hope that everyone’s well.
